Psychiatry

Seeking support means finding the right balance, and for some, that may include medication. Your psychiatrist will collaborate with you to identify any appropriate prescriptions, and continue to monitor your progress.

Interventional Psychiatry

Interventional psychiatry uses advanced, targeted procedures to stimulate the brain’s neural pathways, and is specifically designed for individuals with treatment-resistant depression. This includes TMS and Spravato, which our Palm Desert location is equipped to prescribe and monitor when clinically appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the office? Is there parking?

Our office is located at 72980 Fred Waring Dr., Suite C, Palm Desert, CA 92260, in a professional office complex near the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Monterey Avenue. Free on-site parking is available for patients and visitors, including accessible parking spaces with ADA-compliant access to the office.

How quickly can I get an appointment in Palm Desert?

Appointment availability varies based on factors such as your insurance plan, the type of care you’re seeking, and whether you prefer in-person or virtual sessions. Often, virtual appointments may have earlier availability than in-person visits. In general, many clients are able to schedule their first appointment within three weeks of reaching out to our team.

What’s the difference between in-person vs virtual care?

Choosing between in-person and virtual care is a personal decision. Research has shown that virtual care can be just as effective as in-person for many mental health conditions. Virtual sessions also offer added flexibility, such as before/after work and weekend appointments and the ability to receive care from the comfort of your own space. In-person visits provide the benefit of face-to-face connection, and specialized treatments like TMS and Spravato require in-person care.

You can always start with virtual care and switch to in-person sessions (or vice versa) at any time to see which approach works better for you.
