My therapy approach is present-focused, strengths-based, and change-oriented. We'll explore the difficulties you're experiencing and how they're affecting you, build on your strengths and what works well for you, and work toward meaningful changes that will bring you more fulfillment, joy, and confidence. My therapy style is client-led and non-directive, meaning I don't come to sessions with a set agenda. Instead, our sessions center around what feels most important to you to address each time we meet. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, and I'm here to help you face your challenges and make meaningful changes that lead to greater well-being.
In my practice, I provide individual and family therapy that blends holistic principles and evidence-based practices with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Specializing in trauma recovery, I work with my clients to create a warm, supportive, and safe space in which to rebuild self-esteem and confidence in survivors, helping them reclaim ownership of the self.
If you've been feeling like something isn't quite right, you may be wondering whether it's time to explore treatment options. Perhaps you've tried to manage things on your own, but your symptoms continue to affect your mood, relationships, work, or daily life. You don't have to figure it out alone. I believe the best care begins with listening, understanding your unique experiences, and developing a treatment plan that supports your goals and overall well-being.
I prioritize understanding each individual as unique, establishing an alliance through authentic empathy, therapeutic rapport, and a nonjudgmental demeanor to assess, diagnose, and treat them in a holistic way.
Having spent over two decades as a Social Worker in the Colorado Child Welfare and Adult Protective Services Systems, I've dedicated my career to serving others. For the past ten years, I've focused exclusively on mental health in various settings, including acute psychiatric/medical hospitals and community-based mental health programs. My approach is grounded in strength-based principles, and I integrate evidence-based trauma treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR therapy into my practice.
When you’re living with trauma, anxiety, or navigating a major life shift, it can feel like you’ve lost touch with yourself—your body, your clarity, your sense of direction. Maybe you’re exhausted but can’t sleep, disconnected from others, or stuck in cycles you can’t seem to break. These moments can be disorienting, isolating, and heavy. But healing doesn’t always start with fixing—it often begins with reconnecting: to your body, your values, your breath, and the parts of you that have been working so hard to survive.
How it Works
Life is complicated enough. Finding help shouldn't be.
