If you're navigating life transitions, trauma, or anxiety and resonate with my approach, let's connect and embark on this journey of healing and growth together.
Helping clients improve their lives and achieve personal fulfillment is my passion. I believe that providing quality mental health care is a vital way to give back to the community and humanity. Witnessing clients' growth and success continuously inspires me.
Having grown up with a therapist for a mother, I’ve always been inspired by the role that mental health plays in shaping our lives. This upbringing instilled in me a deep respect for the profession and a desire to create a safe space where individuals and couples can find healing and growth. Each day, I feel honored to witness the courage my clients show as they take steps toward improving their well-being, and it’s this bravery that keeps me passionate about my work.
I came into this field by chance, but I quickly realized it was exactly where I was meant to be. Through my early experiences mentoring students, I discovered a deep passion for guiding others through challenges and helping them grow. Now, as a therapist, I am committed to providing a space where individuals and families can heal, reconnect, and move forward.
When you’re constantly battling self-doubt, sadness, or fear, even small tasks can feel overwhelming. You might appear put-together on the outside while privately managing waves of anxiety, past pain, or a persistent sense that something’s just not right. These struggles often trace back to experiences you’ve had to push through without fully processing—leaving emotional weight that’s hard to carry alone. I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma, offering a space where you can be heard without judgment and begin to untangle what’s been holding you back.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, drawing from ACT, CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing when helpful. Together, we'll work to understand patterns, build emotional steadiness, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded, manageable, and consistent with your values.
In my practice, I utilize a strengths-based approach. I foster a therapeutic environment enriched with humor and empathy, nurturing trust and collaboration with my clients. I specialize in working within the whole human lifecycle, from age six to end of life. In working with individuals and families, we will focus on addressing the "stuck points" in your life that interfere with your connection with others; these can include big "T" and little "t" traumas, parenting, life adjustments, mood disorders, anxiety/panic, and relational stressors.
I became a mental health clinician to empower individuals who want to improve their lives and embrace meaningful change. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore themselves, navigate challenges, and work collaboratively towards their goals. I am continually inspired by the resiliency of the human spirit as it grows through uncertainty, discovers strength in vulnerability, and courageously moves toward healing.
With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, I will provide you with a non-judgmental, supportive space where you feel witnessed, heard and safe in sharing your unique story. Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression or struggles with motivation and self-esteem, I am here to walk alongside you. I am committed to helping you find healing, empowerment, growth and strength.
You may be getting through each day while carrying more beneath the surface than others realize. Depression can leave you feeling disconnected or stuck, anxiety can make it difficult to quiet your mind, and past experiences may continue to shape how you feel, react, or relate to the people around you. Over time, these struggles can make it harder to feel like yourself or believe that things can change. Therapy can be a place to better understand what you’re carrying, recognize the patterns keeping you stuck, and begin finding a way forward that feels manageable and meaningful.
You may be caring for everyone around you while quietly struggling with anxiety, the emotional changes that can come after having a baby, or the impact of a difficult or unsafe relationship. Perhaps you’ve become used to pushing through, questioning your own needs, or keeping parts of your experience to yourself because you’re worried others won’t understand. You deserve the opportunity to tell your story without shame or judgment. I believe that recognizing the resilience that has carried you this far can be an important part of understanding what you need now and finding a path toward greater safety, confidence, and well-being.
