I believe that clients are experts in their own lives and have the ability to play an active role in their own path to wellness. I am trained in a variety of theoretical orientations and do my best to work with you to identify your individual needs and develop a unique treatment plan that fits best for you. I am a big fan of incorporating evidence based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT and out of the box thinking in order to help clients experience relief from symptoms.
Kyra Larson specializes in trauma-informed therapy that is uniquely geared towards each individual client. She works alongside clients, helping them to learn how to use new tools on their path to wellness and trusting them to be the expert in shaping their treatment plan. Kyra has spent over 6 years working with at-risk populations with limited access to resources and is adept at using creative means to help clients experience relief from mental health symptoms.
