My passion for psychology stems from my own journey of overcoming trauma, navigating complex relationships, and discovering the power of faith as a guiding light in difficult times. These experiences have deepened my commitment to helping others find healing and resilience in their own lives. I believe that with the right support, individuals can move beyond their struggles and create a life of meaning and fulfillment.
I became a therapist because I have always found fulfillment in helping others through life's challenges. I believe in creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to work through past experiences and build a healthier future. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, guiding clients toward healing and personal growth.
I began my career in emergency medicine, where I discovered a natural ability to connect with people in the midst of trauma. That experience led me to pursue deeper training in mental health, particularly in helping individuals express what can feel unspeakable. Whether through talk or art, I’m passionate about supporting people as they explore how early experiences shape their beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. I strive to be engaging and interactive to facilitate healing of the body and mind.
Maybe you’re feeling lost inside your own mind—struggling with moods that swing without warning, questions about your identity or beliefs, or patterns in relationships that leave you feeling disconnected. It can feel like you're carrying too much, and yet still questioning whether you deserve support. The truth is, you do. Therapy offers a place to explore these struggles without judgment, to make sense of your story, and to move toward a life that feels more authentic and grounded.
You’re managing a lot, and on the outside, it might seem like you’re doing fine—but inside, it’s a different story. Maybe anxiety has you feeling on edge, or you’re adjusting to a major life shift that’s left you feeling unmoored. If you’re navigating postpartum changes, the emotional landscape can be especially confusing and isolating. Whatever you're carrying, you don’t have to sort through it alone. Therapy offers a chance to pause, reflect, and begin making sense of what’s happening—so that healing and meaningful change become possible.
You’re holding it together for everyone else, but inside, it’s hard to keep up. Maybe you feel stuck in cycles of worry or self-doubt, or you're carrying weight from past experiences that won’t seem to let go. You want things to change—you want to feel more present, more in control, and more like yourself—but you’re not sure where to start. Therapy is a space where we can slow things down, look at what’s really going on beneath the surface, and find new ways of relating to your thoughts, your emotions, and your story.
You’ve been trying to push through, hoping things will get better with time—but deep down, the weight of anxiety, depression, or substance use feels like it’s pulling you under. Maybe you’re tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns, unsure how to move forward even though you want things to be different. Therapy is a place where change doesn’t have to feel so lonely. Together, we can work on building the kind of steady, supportive foundation that makes growth possible—even when the process feels hard.
You're functioning on the outside—holding things together for work, family, and friends—but inside, it feels like you're barely staying afloat. Anxiety, depression, or the impact of past trauma might be weighing on you, leaving you disconnected from yourself and uncertain about what’s next. Maybe it’s hard to name exactly what’s wrong, but you know something’s not right. These internal struggles, often hidden, can feel isolating and relentless. You don’t have to keep going like this. Change is possible—not by pushing harder, but by exploring the patterns that keep you stuck and finding new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.
You're juggling so much, and yet it can feel like no one truly sees what you're going through. On the surface, you're functioning—checking off tasks, keeping commitments—but underneath, there's a quiet struggle: the anxiety that won’t let up, the low mood that lingers, or the impact of past experiences you rarely talk about. Maybe you've learned to minimize it, to keep going without really addressing how much it's costing you. But the fact that you're here means something in you is ready for change. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of it all, and begin to feel more like yourself again.
Living with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, or the effects of a neurological condition can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and uncertain about how to move forward. If you're recovering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI), acquired brain injury (ABI), stroke, or another condition that affects your nervous system, you may also be trying to make sense of changes in your emotions, memory, focus, or relationships. You may just want to feel more like yourself again. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve care that understands your experiences in the context of both your life and your nervous system. I believe healing begins with understanding how the brain, body, and mind work together. I'll partner with you to create a personalized path toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by big emotions, stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, or unsure how to support your child through something hard. Whether you’re a young adult navigating growing pressures, a teen trying to make sense of your world, or a parent holding more than your share, it can feel like no one really gets it. I’ve been there too—in the messy, complicated parts of life where just having someone truly listen can make all the difference.
Anxiety can take over quietly—racing thoughts, constant self-doubt, or an undercurrent of unease that keeps you from feeling fully present in your life. When that anxiety is layered with struggles around identity, belonging, or self-worth, it can feel like you’re always performing, never quite at ease. You deserve a space where you can let go of that performance and simply be. I offer a space to exhale, to speak honestly, and to begin rebuilding a relationship with yourself that’s grounded in compassion and curiosity.
How it Works
Life is complicated enough. Finding help shouldn't be.
