I was drawn to the helping profession through a deep desire to support children facing difficult medical challenges. However, my path soon led me into the field of mental health, where I now work closely with individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. I am passionate about helping people navigate mental health struggles, trauma, and life's many stressors, and I find profound fulfillment in witnessing my clients' healing, renewed sense of self, and personal victories.
I was drawn to a career in mental health after working as a hospice volunteer, where I witnessed firsthand the profound impact of compassionate talk therapy. My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s transitions, manage anxiety, and thrive with Adult ADHD. I'm an ally for both transgendered and members of the LGBTQIA+ community and I have experience working with gender dysmorphia. From a young age, I have been deeply moved by the complexities of human emotion and the resilience of the human spirit. Witnessing the impact of life’s challenges on my own family inspired me to create a space where individuals and couples can feel understood and supported in their healing journeys. My work is rooted in compassion, connection, and a steadfast belief in the transformative power of therapy to help people move from pain to growth.
My deep appreciation for the unique stories and experiences of others inspired my journey into mental health. I find immense joy in supporting clients as they cultivate courage, embrace change, and make choices that prioritize happiness and personal growth. Witnessing these transformations is both humbling and inspiring, and it fuels my dedication to this work.
I became a therapist because of my own experiences with not being seen or heard during a challenging childhood. That experience motivated me to become someone who truly listens and supports others through their struggles. Seeing the progress my clients make—both in small steps and significant breakthroughs—continues to inspire and energize me every day.
