Maybe your child is having a harder time focusing, managing emotions, or keeping up at school—and you’re not sure what’s typical or what needs more support. Or maybe you’re the one feeling distracted, low on energy, or caught in cycles of anxiety that make it hard to feel present. These struggles can leave you feeling uncertain, frustrated, and alone in trying to figure it all out. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I take a holistic and compassionate approach to medication management, working alongside you to understand the full picture—not just the symptoms.
It’s hard to feel like yourself when anxiety or depression takes over. Maybe you're caught in a loop of overthinking, emotionally shut down, or just too exhausted to keep pretending everything’s fine. Even when things look okay on the outside, the inner disconnect can leave you feeling lost—like you don’t recognize your own thoughts, reactions, or desires anymore. But you don’t have to stay in that space. With the right support, it’s possible to feel steady again, more connected to yourself, and more in control of what comes next.
I offer a treatment approach that consists of compassion, empathy, patience, and open-mindedness to every patients’ concerns and illnesses. My focus is treating the mind, body, and spirit in order to improve the quality of life for all my clients. I evaluate the issues and needs that are related to my patients’ relationships, spirituality, career, education, development, and medical and mental health. I collaborate with each patient along with their friends and loved ones to devise a very effective, evidenced-based treatment plan. Collectively, we work as a team in order to address the problems that are causing distress or impairment in all areas of life.
Even high-functioning adults can feel worn thin by the weight of anxiety, depression, or trauma that lingers just beneath the surface. You may look like you're holding it all together, but inside, you're managing constant worry, emotional fatigue, or memories that refuse to stay in the past. As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, I know how experiences can shape us in invisible ways—and how healing begins when you finally feel seen and heard.
When your mental health starts to interfere with your comfort or quality of life, it can be hard to know where to turn—or what kind of support will actually help. Anxiety, depression, and OCD often shape more than just your mood—they influence how you think, relate, and move through the world. You might look fine on the outside while quietly feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure. If you're seeking relief but want something more grounded than a quick fix, you're not alone.
You’re doing your best to hold it all together, but underneath, anxiety, depression, or the weight of past experiences can feel overwhelming and exhausting. Maybe you’ve learned to push through, to stay functional on the outside while feeling stuck, disconnected, or on edge inside. These patterns can start to feel like they define you—but they don’t have to. With the right support, there is a way to better understand what you’re going through, find steadiness, and begin to feel more like yourself again.
