Elaine Ocampo (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
Focus Area: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Licensed in: California
My approach is to address the underlying causes of your symptoms rather than simply masking them. I aim to understand and recognize the unique needs of each individual, and that each person has their own strengths, backgrounds, and circumstances.
About Me
During difficult times, it can be helpful to seek support and guidance. I understand that life can sometimes be overwhelming, and it is important to remember that you do not have to face it alone. My goal is to become a member of your support system, where you can feel acknowledged, understood, and embrace your true and authentic self. While I specialize in medication management, I believe in exploring the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporating lifestyles modifications to facilitate the healing process. My experience encompasses treating various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I am a certified in perinatal mental health and provide support to women as they navigate the challenges that arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Additionally, I am a certified addictions advanced practice nurse. It is a joy of mine to witness that transformative process of overcoming an addiction and incorporating lifestyle changes for long term recovery. I am excited to be part of your team, supporting you on your journey!
