During my early adolescence, witnessing peers with different abilities struggle with behavior and academics, and seeing their mental health suffer, motivated me to pursue a career in the pediatric mental health field to help others like them. The importance of mental health cannot be overstated, as it is a crucial component of overall well-being. This profession continues to inspire me as awareness of mental health grows.

About Me

I graduated from California State University, Sacramento with an MA in 2003. I specialize in adjustment disorder, autism, behavioral issues, and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and I am dedicated to fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for all my clients. My therapeutic approach primarily involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I have found to be highly effective in addressing a variety of mental health challenges. By creating a safe and nurturing space, I strive to help my clients achieve their fullest potential and improve their overall quality of life. I specialize in working with children ages 3-17.
