Becky Overson, LCSW

Licensed in: Oregon
I was drawn to this work through my own healing process and the deep gratitude I carry for the therapists who supported me along the way. I find meaning in those subtle but powerful moments when something shifts—when a client realizes things can be different. My style is calm, attuned, and especially supportive for sensitive individuals navigating trauma, grief, or the lingering impact of early life experiences.

About Me
I earned my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University in 2009 and have spent the years since walking alongside clients through some of life’s most difficult terrain. I specialize in trauma recovery, grief work, and childhood abuse, and I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness-based techniques, and Motivational Interviewing to support growth and healing. My therapeutic style is grounded yet flexible, allowing me to meet each client exactly where they are. I aim to offer a space where sensitive people feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward.
