I earned a dual Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Practice from California State University, Long Beach, and later completed my post-master’s certification in Psychiatry at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. I bring more than a decade of experience managing and treating individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, trauma-related conditions such as PTSD, acute stress, and adjustment disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and neurocognitive and developmental disorders.
My Clients
I offer a treatment approach that consists of compassion, empathy, patience, and open-mindedness to every patients’ concerns and illnesses. My focus is treating the mind, body, and spirit in order to improve the quality of life for all my clients. I evaluate the issues and needs that are related to my patients’ relationships, spirituality, career, education, development, and medical and mental health. I collaborate with each patient along with their friends and loved ones to devise a very effective, evidenced-based treatment plan. Collectively, we work as a team in order to address the problems that are causing distress or impairment in all areas of life.
